Karen M. Wells

Karen M. Wells, 68, lifelong resident of Hamilton, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Kettering Health Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton on January 15, 1956, the daughter of Paul and Carol Ann (Stitzel) Conover.

Karen retired from the City of Hamilton after her career as a 911 Operator. She also had more than 20 years with Ohio Casualty Insurance. Karen loved to cook and crochet and enjoyed doing crafts. She also loved to be outdoors, especially when fishing and she was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds.

Above all Karen loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed by her son, Michael Wells; step-son, Ryan Wells; sisters, Michele (Rick) Philpot, Denise (Jeff) Adams & Paula (Mark) Packer; brother, Mark (Sharon) Conover; and 4 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Scott Wells and son, Lanie Barger.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
