Katherine Boyd Long

Katherine Boyd Long, 45, of Trenton, died Tuesday, February 3, 2004, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on September 30, 1958 to parents James F. and Jessie W. (Campbell) Boyd.

Katherine was a member of Stratford Heights Church of God, where she was a member of the choir and praise team, as well as Assistant Sunday School Superintendent. She worked in catalog sales for Cintas Corporation.

Katherine is survived by her husband, James W. Long of Trenton; one daughter, Melissa R. Long of Trenton; one son, Joshua M. (Carrie) Long of Monroe; her parents, James & Jessie Boyd of Mt. Sterling, KY; a sister, Cynthia P. (Mark) McKenna of Mt. Sterling, KY; a brother, James C. (Debra) Boyd of Camargo, KY; and three nieces, Aleisha Boyd, Dudley McKenna, and Kathryn McKenna.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Stratford Heights Church Of God, 4419 Nelson Rd., with Pastor Walter D. Watkins officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM at the church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
