Kathleen E. Waits

Kathleen E. Waits, 87, of Monroe, died Thursday, September 22, 2005, at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Home. She was born in St. Martin, Ohio on March 4, 1918 to Guy Francis and Anna (Wood) Dudley.

Mrs. Waits was a longtime resident of Monroe and member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Kathleen is survived by two daughters, Mary Rose (David) Alexander and Margaret (Robert) Linker; one son, Robert (Barbara) Waits; daughter-in-law, Susan Waits; 11 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and dear friends, Shirley A. Waits and Helen M. Schultheiss.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russel Waits; her parents; and son, Philip Waits.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 26, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church with Father Terry Meehan as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to Mass from 10-11 AM at the church. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
