Kathleen Ellen Muthert

Kathleen Ellen Muthert, 93, of Franklin Township, died Thursday, January 28, 2016, at home surrounded by family and her loving husband. She was born in Buford, Ohio on June 11, 1922 to parents Howard and Myrl (Wardlow) Whitley.

Kathleen was a member of Holy Family Parish. She was past president of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #3809.

Mrs. Muthert is survived by her husband of 75 years, William Muthert, who is a World War II veteran; children, Patrick (Carolyn) Muthert, Kathy (Herman) Wolfe, Gloria Muthert, Dottie Muthert & Pattie Fueston; 6 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Russell Whitley; and son-in-law, Donnie Fueston.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to Hospice Care of Middletown for their care and support.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 11:30 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:30 am at the church. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice Care of Middletown, 3909 Central Ave., Middletown, Ohio 45044.
