Kathryn Ruth Secor, 78, died Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Winter Haven Hospital. She and her husband, Ron, resided in Winter Haven, Florida during the winter months and Trenton, Ohio during the summer months. She was born in London, Ontario, Canada on February 29, 1928 to parents Edward and Irene (Eriskine) McCarthy.
Kathryn was a graduate of business college and held a senior job in a Canadian Bank. In 1954 she married her husband, Ronald Secor and moved to the Middletown area where he accepted a position with the Black Clawson Company. She worked for a few years with the Gardner Board and Carton Company before retiring to become a full time homemaker. She was a longtime member of Forest Hills Country Club and was active in several bridge groups.
Mrs. Secor is survived by her husband, Ron Secor; a daughter, Rhonda Stout of Jacksonburg, OH; one sister, Rosemary Woodman of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada; and grandchildren, Amber Stout, Mathew Stout, Rachel Stout, and Andrew Stout.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Joyce; and a brother, James.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Father George Klein officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
