Kathy Sue Philpot

Kathy Sue Philpot, 54, of Middletown, Ohio, died on Wednesday, July 23, 2003. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on July 30, 1948 to parents Carl Z. and Estella (Veidt) Weidle.

Kathy worked for Smurfit Stone Container for 17 years. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, the Loyal Order of Moose #1645 in Miamisburg, and Eagles Aerie #528. She loved her dogs, bowled in leagues at both Sports Bowl and Eastern Lanes, and skated regularly at the Germantown Skating Rink on Sunday nights.

Kathy is survived by a sister, Eugenie 'Janie' Shelton and a brother, Lowell (Mary Kathleen) Weidle, both of Middletown; 5 nieces; 7 nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and 1 great great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Leroy Weidle in 2000.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Kathy’s caregivers, Jewell Blanton and Diana Boshears.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Reverend Daniel Dawson officiating. Visitation will be Friday, from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
