Kenneth M. Achberger

Kenneth M. Achberger, 71, of Trenton, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born in Dayton on February 3, 1952.

Kenny was a devoted family man who worked for Cincinnati Gas & Electric, Cinergy & Duke Electric for 39 years, retiring in 2010 as a district supervisor in charge of linepersons at Todhunter, Fairfield & Brecon Overhead. Kenny was a volunteer firefighter in Trenton for 20 years and Chief of the Fire Dept. for 8 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John F. & Jayne (Coulter) Achberger. Kenny is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie Achberger; 2 daughters, Kelli Achberger & Stacey (Sean) Messinger; 4 grandchildren, Cameron Bush, Courtney Bush, Jacob Messinger & Jenna Messinger; and a great granddaughter, Kynslee. He also has a brother, John (Denise) Achberger and many friends & co-workers that he enjoyed being around.

Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Pastor Ray Phillips officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Hickory Flat Cemetery.
