Kenneth Danny “Slug” Mynhier, 56, of Middletown, died Monday, August 25, 2003, at Hospice Of Dayton. He was born in Middletown on February 15, 1947 to parents Albert and Florence (Powell) Mynhier.
Mr. Mynhier worked as a ladle liner for AK Steel for 27 years, retiring in 2002. He was quite an outdoorsman, enjoying camping, and fishing, and he loved to cook.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Nancy (Reffitt) Mynhier of Middletown; two daughters, Regina (Bill) Smith of Bedford, IN, and Dana Holman of Middletown; one son, Kenneth D. (Wendy) Mynhier of South Lebanon; a sister, Shirley Coyner of Maryland; two brothers, Tom Mynhier of Tennessee, and Michael (Sue) Mynhier of Middletown; father and mother-in-law, Delbert & Mary Reffitt of Franklin; and 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Kayla, Daniel, Cheyenne, & Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Robert & Donald Mynhier; and 2 sisters, Barbara Kirby and Carolyn Smith.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 28, 2003 at 1:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Pastor John Birch officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
