Kitty Cramer Lantis

Marcheta Kitty Cramer Lantis, 62, of Middletown, Ohio, died on Monday, January 19, 2004, at her residence. She was born in Middletown on July 18, 1941 to Charles W. and Cecilia Marie (Lay) Cramer.

Kitty was a graduate of the University of Dayton and worked as a teacher at John XXIII School. She also taught at the Southwestern College of Business, and prepared taxes for H & R Block, before retiring in 1993. She was a lifelong member of Holy Family Parish-St. John´s Church, where she was active with bereavement, WINGS, and she served as lector and euchastric minister. She was also a member of Sons of Italy.

Mrs. Lantis is survived by two daughters, Saundra (Rick) Pearce and Lisa (John) Rossi, both of Middletown; three sisters, Dixie Dunlop, Mona (Cecil) Short, and Lorie Cramer, all of Middletown, OH; four brothers, Bill Cramer of Fairfield, OH, Bob Cramer of Grand Prairie, TX, Jim (Bev) Cramer of Middletown, OH, and Chuck (Kim) Cramer of Eden Prairie, MN; her mother, Cecilia Marie Cramer of Middletown, OH; a brother-in-law, Dick Lantis of Centerville, OH; four grandchildren, Kelli & Jenni Rossi, and Ricky & Allison Pearce; aunt, Betty Snell of Middletown, OH; uncle, Tom (Betty) Lay of Middletown, OH; and nieces and nephews, Sam Dunlop, Ricky Cramer, Jennifer Lane, Rob Trout, Nick Cramer, Randy Cramer, Casey Short, Carrie Cramer, Abby Cramer, & Emily Cramer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Larry Lantis in 1994 and her father, Charles W. Cramer in 1998.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, January 23, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
