Larry A. Nichols

Larry Allen Nichols, 79, of Middletown, died Friday, March 9, 2018, at his home. He was born in Franklin on October 1, 1938 to parents James Franklin and Irene Margaret (Minge) Nichols.

Larry retired from Armco/AK Steel Corp. He served his country in the United States Army. Larry was a member of Holy Family Parish and spent a great deal of time there. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus John Paul II Council #1610.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his daughters, Helen (Mike) Svarda & Elizabeth Frisch; step son, Gary David (Sarah) Adams; grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) Jones & Britney (Ejay) Edquid; and great grandchildren, Noah, Micah & Madelyn Jones & Ryder & Raelyn Edquid. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis J. Nichols; son, Jeff Nichols; parents; and granddaughter, Heather Marie Nichols.

Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Parish - Holy Trinity Church, 201 Clark Street, Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church. Inurnment will be at Springboro Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark Street, Middletown, Ohio 45042.
