Larry D. Carr

Larry D. Carr, 66, of Middletown, died Monday, December 23, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center. He was born in Middletown on March 30, 1947.

Larry worked in the cold strip roll shop at Armco / AK Steel Corporation for 37 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #501, Fraternal Order of Orioles #193 and former member of Eagles Aerie 528.

Mr. Carr is survived by his mother, Janet Rowan; children, Mark (Cherice) Perry & Breeanne (Josh) Booth; former wife, Glenda Carr; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; half-brother, Chris Carr; half-sister, Allegra & family; several aunts, uncles, cousins & many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Carr; step father, James Rowan; and sons, Larry Carr Jr. & Robert Perry.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Doug Kauffman & Dick Kauffman officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.
