Laura Lenore Sample, 84, of Middletown, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Middletown, on August 14, 1921 to parents John and Loraine (Webber) Hudson.
Laura was a graduate of the Middletown Hospital School of Nursing. She served her country in the United States Army, during World War II, in India and Burma. She worked for Dr. William Storer for 35 years.
Laura is survived by her two children, Molly (Lyle Easter) Hill, and Michael (Marsha) Sample, both of Middletown; a brother, Leroy (Evelyn) Hudson of Middletown; four grandchildren, Stacey Hope of Cincinnati, Aaron Hope of Middletown, Stephanie (Aaron) Todd of Portis, Kansas, and Jessica Sample of Middletown; and a great grandson, Colton Todd.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lois Routson.
A Gathering of Friends will be Friday, April 28, 2006 from 6-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., (at Bonita Dr.) Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Cincinnati, 4310 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242.
