Laura Virginia Leasure

Laura Virginia (Byrum) Leasure, 95, formerly of Middletown, died peacefully on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Ohio Living Mt. Pleasant in Monroe. She was born in Middletown on October 21, 1921 to parents Robb and Laura (Simonton) Byrum.

Throughout her life she was an active member of her community, a “Gray Ladies” volunteer at Middletown Regional Hospital and was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Mrs. Leasure is survived by her sons, Mark (Tana) Leasure & Matthew Leasure; grandchildren, Zachary Leasure, Madeline Leasure, Robert Leasure & Tracey Brownrigg; as well as three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leasure; son, Michael Leasure; parents; and siblings.
