Laurie J. Nori

Laurie J. Nori, 70, of Middletown, died Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Holloway, Ohio on April 11, 1933 to parents Orville and Margaret (Moreland) Hinds.

Laurie was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, where she directed the Men´s Choir and the Koinonia Choir for many years. She was a long time employee of the Outreach program at church.

Laurie is survived by a daughter, Christine (Mark) Fiessinger of Middletown; a son, Alan Nori of Middletown; a grandson, Alex C. Nori of Franklin; two sisters, Margaret Hines of Clearwater, FL, and Rhea Alkire of Canton, OH; and one brother, Duane (Betty) Hinds of Gardena, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 29, 2003 at 10:00 AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 700 S. Marshall Rd., Middletown, with Reverend Lisa Ellison and Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, from 6-8 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. and Friday, prior to the service, at the church from 9:30-10:00 AM. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
