Leonard Angel, Jr., 71, of Middletown, died Saturday, January 1, 2011, at home. He was born in Blue Diamond, Kentucky on July 28, 1939 to parents Leonard and Georgia Angel Sr..

Leonard served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a quality inspector for General Electric Evendale for 35 years retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Yankee Road Church of God, a member of the former Lemon Township rescue squad and an avid bowler.

Mr. Angel is survived by his wife, Irene Angel; son, Charles (Sandra) Angel; sisters, Marie Tumbleson and Louise McDaniel and many Nieces and Nephews.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Francis Madden and Lorene Sizemore and brothers, Hubert Angel, Roscoe Angel and Hobart Angel.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 11:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery where military graveside rites will be accorded by the Middletown American Legion Post 218.
