Leonard Wells

Leonard Wells, 86, of Middletown, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Carlisle Manor Nursing Home. He was born in Menifee Co. on June 4, 1924 to parents Alfred and Cannie (Agee) Wells.

Leonard served his country in the United States Army during WWII where he received the Purple Heart and a bronze star. Mr. Wells worked for the City of Trenton in the Public Works Dept.

Mr. Wells is survived by his sons, Tom "Wolfman" (Connie) Wells, Leonard "Peewee" Wells; sister, Patty (David) Nipper; brothers, Ed Wells, Kenny (Shirley) Wells, Harvey (Wilma) Wells, Bobby Wells; sister, Jean Puckett and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; friend, Kim Hall.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents and wives, Juanita Wells, Georgia Wells and Dorothy Wells; daughter, Shirley Wells and sisters Marie, Eunice And Marion.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00pm. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home.
