Leota Sears Hunt

Leota Sears Hunt, 91 formerly of Middletown died on Wednesday evening at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village. Mrs. Hunt was born Feb. 25, 1911 in Middletown to Andrew & Georgia Sears. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and had worked for Diamond International retiring in 1976 after 15 years.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by a daughter-in-law Mary Helen Hunt, Monroe and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Fred E. Hunt, Sr. in 1962, a son Fred E. Hunt, December 16, 2001 and a brother William Sears.

Funeral Service Saturday, July 6, 2002 at 11:00 am, at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr. Visitation Saturday from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Rev. Susan Jones Thompson officiating. Interment at Woodside Cemetery.
