Lewis Reffitt

Lewis Reffitt, 81, of Trenton, died Thursday, June 29, 2017, at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center. He was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on January 31, 1936 to parents George Washington and Janie (Vice) Reffitt.

Lewis was a good Christian man whose family always came first. He enjoyed watching the Reds on TV and was an avid Dale Earnhardt fan. Lewis was the longtime owner of L & B Carry-out on Mohawk St.

Mr. Reffitt is survived by his wife of 59 years, Brenda (Myers) Reffitt; son, Dale Reffitt; sisters, Louise (Harold) Back, Virgie Johnson & Barbara (Ron) Coy; two grandchildren, Dustin Reffitt & Lindsay Reffitt; and one great grandchild, Adriana Reffitt. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Bertha Groves, Nancy Dawson & Mary Wells.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
