Lillian S. Brooks

Lillian S. Brooks, 69, of Middletown, Ohio, died on July 11, 2002, at Middletown Regional Hospital. She was born in Knott County, Kentucky on March 27, 1933 to parents John and Fayma M. (Combs) Combs.

She was a Nurses´ Aide for the Mercy Hamilton and Fairfield Hospitals for forty years, retiring in 1996. Mrs. Brooks enjoyed all types of sports.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents .

She is survived by a son, David L. Brooks of Hamilton, a daughter: Tammy Cornett of Middletown, two brothers, Desmond (Linda) Combs of Hamilton and Charles (Lynn ) Combs of Middletown, four sisters; Dottie (Frank) Collins of Middletown, Molly Lakes of Monroe, Atha (Ray) Powell of Waynesville and Kathy Coulter of West Carrolton, four grandchildren, Katey Cornett; Shawna Brooks; Alanna Brooks and Dallas Brooks; great grandchild, Briana Brooks and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 15, 2002 at 1:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd at Bonita Dr. with Pastor Chuck Wolfinbarger officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 15, 2002 from 12-1 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park
