Linda L. Smith

Linda L. Smith, 68, of Monroe, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on September 18, 1946 to parents Elgin and Madge (Day) McCarty.

Linda was a member of the Salvation Army.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, Jason (Angie) Smith & Kevin (Beth) Smith; grandchildren, Zachary Smith & Caroline Smith; and niece, Mary Jo (Mike) Harrison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Smith in 2010; parents; sisters, Eleanor Hayes & Imogene "Jeanie" Wolf; and brother, Alfred "Buddy" Cofe.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the Mount Pleasant Activity Building, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe.
