Linda M. Blankenship

Linda M. Blankenship, 65, of Madison Township, passed away at 9:11 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2004, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on June 9, 1939 to parents Dennis E. and Louella (Whitters) Smith.

Linda was an original member of the Ohio Horseman´s Council in 1973, dedicated to horses and creating horse trails.

Mrs. Blankenship is survived by her husband of 48 years, Marvin L. Blankenship, Jr. of Madison Township; two sons and their wives, Mitchell Lee (Lori) Blankenship of Centerville, and Marvin L. (Eileen) Blankenship III of Middletown; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; two sisters, Eileen Daugherty of Florida and Patricia Kovacs of California; her aunt, Mary Stamper of Florida; uncle, Paul Smith of Colorado; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and close friends, Buella Fay Bergman of Dayton and Judy Bendge of Camden.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family asks that memorial donations be made in the name of Linda M. Blankenship to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45420.
