Linda Mayer Strassburger

Linda Mayer Strassburger, 59, of Franklin Township, died Sunday, October 18, 2009, at home. She was born in Middletown, on February 18, 1950 to parents Adrian 'AJ'and Jean Ann (Iezzoni) Mayer.

Linda worked at the VFW Post 3809 for 30 years and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Strassburger is survived by her son, Bryan (Shelley) Titus; brothers, Dwayne (Anne) Mayer, Douglas A. Mayer; granddaughter, Peyton Titus; grandson, Jaxon Titus; special friend, Thom Kincaid; niece, Amber (Ryan) Miller; nephew, Donald (Tabby) Reek; niece, Ashley (Tyler) Gainey.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:30 to 12:30 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Albert Malcolm and staff, Hospice Care of Middletown, and the many others involved with Linda's care.
