Lloyd Edward “Eddie” Fisher, Jr. 83, of Trenton, died on June 2, 2022 at Otterbein-Middletown. He was born on March 28, 1939 in Middletown, OH to Lloyd Edward Fisher, Sr. and Jane Elizabeth (Walterhus) Fisher.
Eddie worked for Armco Steel Corp as a machinist for 31 years and volunteered as the groundskeeper at Edgewood City Schools in Trenton, where he helped line the field, later being hired full as their groundskeeper. He was also a volunteer driver for the Edgewood Bands and was a very likeable person. Eddie participated in Soap Box Derby's, played trumpet and was a member of the Monroe Marching 100 and marched in the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C.. He was a member of the Aero Modelers and was the first registered male Girl Scout advisor with his wife. Eddie enjoyed roller skating and enjoyed trips to Mammoth cave. He was a volunteer driver for band equipment for Edgewood City Schools along with being a member of the Band Boosters and a proud fan of the football team. Eddie followed the DCI Drum and Bugle Corps, in which his grandson participated, across the United States. His love for boating, waterskiing and camping at Dale Hollow and Lake Erie led to him and Donna building their own truck camper that resembled a professionally built one. Eddie and Donna wintered in Florida with their RV.
Lloyd is survived by his wife; Donna Fisher, children; Debbie (Donald) Osborne, David Fisher and Jill Curl, grandchildren; David (RaCha) Curl, Robbie (Kelly) Fisher, Evan (Allison) Osborne, Erica (David) Bonapfel, Ryan Fisher, Rhett (Blair) Osborne, Amanda (Alex) Tennant and Molly Osborne, great grandchildren; Xavier, Austin, Willow, Gracie and Wrenlee,
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Drive) Middletown, OH 45044. The family will receive friends and relatives prior to the service from 12:30-1:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
