Lois Faye Messinger

Lois Faye Messinger, 83, of Miami Township, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at her residence. She was born in Hamilton on August 1, 1929 to parents John Carl and Elma (Agnew) Lemmons.

Lois was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the VFW Post 3809 Ladies Auxiliary.

Mrs. Messinger is survived by her sons, Allyn Scott (Debbie) Messinger, Keith (Gayle) Messinger, Steve Kevin Messinger & Paul D. (Ann) Messinger; daughters, Darlene Fisher & Cindy F. (Mark) Ramage; sister, Melba (Corky) Gross; sister-in-law, Ida Mae Lemmons; 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul E. Messinger in 1994; son, Larry E. Messinger in 1970; parents; brothers, Myron, Robert & Kenneth Lemmons; and sisters, Aletha Loman, Dorothy Bufler & Mary Pate.

Memorial service will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 12:00 Noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Chuck Cotton officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 11:00 – 12:00 pm. Inurnment will be at Woodside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45206.
