Lois Vivian (Schultz) Gardner, 78, of Middletown, died Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Hawthorn Glen Senior Living Campus. She was born in Olympia, Kentucky on April 8, 1932 to parents Jesse and Edna (Griggs) Schultz. She retired in 1994 after 30 years of employment at Armco Steel.
Mrs. Gardner is survived by her husband, Curtis Gardner; son, Jeffery (Becky) Gardner; daughter, Jennifer (Mike) Agoston; brothers, Roger Shultz and Jesse (Becky) Schultz; three grandchildren, Emily Gardner, Katie and Chris Agoston; brother-in-law, Edward Maschinot; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Vernona Maschinot.
The family would like to thank the caring staff at Hawthorn Glen and Hospice of Dayton for their care of Lois.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Dr. Kenneth Atchison officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
