Banks, Lois P.

Lois P. Banks, 77, of Monroe, died Sunday, August 28, 2011, at Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born in Cinda, Kentucky on January 18, 1934 to parents Willie and Zona (Maggard) Pennington.

Lois worked as a secretary for the United States Air Force, Armco Steel, and Bellefonte Reinsurance.

Mrs. Banks is survived by her husband, Taylor Goebel Banks; son, David Keith (Elena) Banks; sisters, Wilma (Robert) Baehler and Carolyn R. Angel; niece, Nikki Roman; nephew, Craig Daniels; three great nephews, two great nieces and other loving family.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents and Brother, Keith Edward Day.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 2:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend James Kinser officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 - 2:00 pm. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
