Lola W. Eggleton

Lola W. Eggleton, 71, of Middletown, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Traditions of Lebanon, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on May 10, 1952 in Mobile, Alabama.

Lola had worked as a computer programmer for Monarch Marking Systems, retiring after 15 years with the company. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. Lola was a member of Holy Family Parish. In her spare time she enjoyed playing cards, computer games and watching her grandkids play soccer. Lola loved to travel, especially to Hawaii, where she had been four times.  She also adored her Siberian Huskies, most of all, Taz.

Lola is survived by her devoted husband. Arnold "Ace" Eggleton; son, Roger (Michelle) Eggleton; mother, Willie Mae (nee Patrick) Wilson; brother, Arnold (Murdis) Wilson; and four grandchildren, Liam Eggleton, Elena Eggleton, Shriver Eggleton & Dylan Eggleton.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Wilson and brother, George "Bubba" Wilson.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Father John Civille and Pastor Jake Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
