Lona Irene Williams

Lona Irene Williams, 75, of Liberty Township, died Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Christ Hospital. She was born in Cherokee, North Carolina on May 8, 1939 to parents Robert and May (Murphy) Brindle.

Lona worked in the housekeeping industry for 30 years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her sons, Tony (Linda) Williams & Charles Jeffery Scott (Vallerie) Williams; daughter, Therese (Leon) Blake; brothers, James Brindle & Eugene (Martha) Brindle; sisters, Louise (John) Robinson, Jenny (Don) Evans & Janice Jones; two grandsons, Lane (Megan) Williams & Nate (Jen) Ellis; and three great grandchildren, Zoe, Logan & Mira.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles L. Williams in 2010; daughter, Neiki Michelle Williams; parents; and sister, Jackie Whitetree.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 6556 Hamilton-Middletown Rd., Middletown. Private entombment for the family will be held at Woodside Mausoleum.
