Loretta J. Cooper

Loretta J. Cooper, 77, of Madison Township, died Saturday, December 5, 2015, at home. She was born in San Francisco, California on June 6, 1938 to parents Don Arthur and Francis "Margie" (Stone) Preston.

Mrs. Cooper attended The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and was involved with the Relief Society. She was a member of the DAR. She volunteered at Middletown Regional Hospital and was involved in the hospital auxiliary, and also volunteered at Middfest International. Loretta served her country in the United States Air Force.

Ms. Cooper is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Kenny) Whiteman, Vicki (Tom) Monce, Karen Bretches; brother, Clifford (Cheri) Preston; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Cooper Jr.; and special friend, John F. Kimball.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 10:00 am at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Mr. Charles E. Tobey officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum with military honors conducted by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard.
