Louis J. Natalia, 87, of Middletown died Saturday, December 18, 2010, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. He was born in Middletown on May 11, 1923 to parents Frank and Madelina (Lopane) Natalia.

Louis served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired in 1985 from Armco Steel after 40 years of employment and was a life member of Middletown VFW Post 3809.

Mr. Natalia is survived by his sons, Skip Natalia and Joe Natalia; daughter, Beth Ann Natalia; sister Fannie Albin; three grandchildren: Autumne, Ambir, (correct spellings on both) and Jamey and three great grandchildren: Talia, Jacob and Josh.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary in 1984, brother Frankie Natalia, sisters Louise Deure and Mary Lindsay and a grandson Robbie.

Funeral service will be at 1 P.M. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. Middletown with Father John Civille officiating. Visitation will be from 12-1 P.M. prior to the service.

Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum where military rites will be accorded by American Legion Post 218.
