Lucille Bailey

Bailey, Lucille Age 87, of Middletown, passed away on June 7, 2017, at Bickford Assisted Living. She was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky on April 19, 1930 to parents Sam and Maranda (Branson) Whisman. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, quilting, sewing, and crafts. She attended Christ United Methodist Church, helping with salad luncheons and bazaars. Lucille is survived by her husband of 68 years, Ray Bailey; daughter, Glenda (Dan) Brandenburg; granddaughter, Kellie Holliday; grandson, Kyle (Rachel) Brandenburg; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Austin, James, Stanley, Orville, and Jay Whisman; sister, Zeola Dunahoo; and daughter, Nancy Lynn. Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown with Pastor Norm Coleman and Chaplain Mary Jessee officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Graveside service will follow at Woodside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Christ Church United Methodist, 700 S.
