Lucille L. Heiland

Lucille L. Heiland, 93, of Otterbein Lebanon Retirement Community, formerly of Middletown, died Saturday, October 9, 2004, at Middletown Regional Hospital.

Lucille was born on July 9, 1911, in Pine Grove, Kentucky and had lived most of her life in the Middletown area. She was a long-time employee of the Central Store. She also lived in Jacksonville Beach, Florida between 1952 and 1984, where she was employed by the Fairchild Aircraft Company until her return to Middletown.

Mrs. Heiland is survived by her two brothers, George (Betty) Curry of Dayton and Paul (Muriel) Curry of Middletown; and three nephews, 4 nieces, and their children.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth L. Heiland in 1985; her parents, Elias F. and Josephine (Lawwill) Curry; brothers, Billy, Joseph, and James Curry; and a nephew, Jim Curry, Jr..

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Father Bernard Weldishofer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, prior to the service, from 1-2 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow, with interment at Woodside Cemetery, at the convenience of the family.
