Lula E. Sorrell

Lula E. Sorrell, 81, of Middletown, died Sunday, November 7, 2010, at home. She was born in Jackson, Kentucky on May 7, 1929 to parents Peter and Elvira (Robinson) Kakaris.

Lula was a member of the Truth Tabernacle Church, Middletown for 39 years.

Mrs. Sorrell is survived by her sons, Jason (Julia) Sorrell, Eric (Angelina) Sorrell, Carl Whitt, Allen (Judy) Whitt and Robert (Evelyn) Whitt; daughter, Donna (Allen) Hanna; brothers, Louis Kakaris, Ova Kakaris, Fred Kakaris and Ben Kakaris; sisters, Mary Niece and Edna Sargent; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Lula was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Alfred Sorrell; sister, Oma Hollon and granddaughter, Kristen Hanna.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 11:00 am at Truth Tabernacle Church, 6879 Hamilton-Middletown Rd., Middletown with Pastor Daniel Hidlebaugh officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
