Lula Poulias

Lula Poulias, 77, of Loveland, died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Bethesda North Hospital. She was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 28, 1933 to parents Nicholas and Frosine (Aridas) Revelos.

Lula was a life long member of the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox church in Middletown where she was a member of the choir and served for a time as the organist and as choir director. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Ladies Philoptochos Society charitable organization since 1957, Daughters of Penelope and church Mother's Club.

In the 1950's she was executive secretary to the VP of Sales for Aeronca Aircraft Manufacturing, and after marriage worked as hostess and bookkeeper at the Poulias family owned restaurant The Brass Rail during the 1960's and 70's.

Mrs. Poulias is survived by her son, Alcibiades (Pamela) Poulias and brothers, George N. Revelos, Mike (Katina) Revelos, Chris (Elaine Renee) Revelos and nieces and nephews, Nicholas M. Revelos, Nicholas C. (Victoria) Revelos, Euphrosyne (Rick) Eccher, Mary (Adam) Knectt, Jamie (Vernon) Beatty, Francine (James) Ulrich, Chrisanne (Jeff) Heisey, Alcibiades N. (Lynn) Poulias, Louis (Mary) Poulias, George (Darlene) Poulias, Terry (Christine) Poulias, Alcibiades S. Poulias, Liana Poulias, Bette (Illias) Vichos, Thanassis (Angeliki) Mbehs, George (Neysa) Angelos, Niki (Eddie) Staats and Sophia (Brian) Colombo

Lula was preceded in death by her parents and brother, C. Nicholas Revelos.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2500 Grand Ave., Middletown with Father Bill Cassis officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH with the Trisagion prayer service will be at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
