M. Elaine Hocz

M. Elaine (MacDonald) Hocz, 84, of Monroe, died Saturday, November 14, 2009, at her residence. She was born in Dayton on September 25, 1925 to parents Francis and Edna Ruth (MacDonald) Distler.

She was a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens, several bridge clubs and was previously an avid bowler. She loved making crafts and dearly loved her family.

Mrs. Hocz is survived by her son, Dwayne A. Hocz; daughters, Cheryl (Richard) Savin, Bonny (Roger) Sprinkle and Denise Daniel; a brother, F. Allen "Jim" (Albi) Distler and daughter-in-law, Janet Hocz; nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two nephews.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph "Joe" Hocz and a son, Joseph S. Hocz.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday November 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Pastor Chad Slifer officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12 Noon to 1:00pm. Interment will be at Mound Cemetery.
