M. Lorraine Mcgraw

M. Lorraine McGraw, 81, of Middletown, died Friday, January 24, 2003 at Hawthorn Glen Nursing Center. She was born in Beckley, West Virginia, on September 27, 1921 to parents Carlye A. and Wanda I. (Lilly) Tudor.

Lorraine was a 1938 graduate of Middletown High School and the Middletown Business and Secretarial College. She worked for Dr. Louis B. Gaker as office manager and for Dr. Al Niemer. She was secretary for Armbruster Environmental Services and was past president of American Business Women's Association.

Mrs. McGraw is survived by her three children Jeffrey Eugene (Janice) McGraw of Boiling Springs, PA, Melinda K. (James) Armbruster of Middletown, and Kerry Lynn McGraw of Reynoldsburg; one sister, May Fern Hamilton of Wooster; seven grandchildren, Lori (Paul) Schreiner-McGraw, David E. McGraw, James E. (Susie) Armbruster II, Tracy Anne Armbruster, Matthew B. (Anna) Armbruster, Nathan V. McGraw, and Justin P. McGraw; and eight great grandchildren, Adam Schreiner-McGraw, Jeffrey Schreiner-McGraw, Tanner J. Armbruster, Gabriel V. Armbruster, Madison B. Armbruster, Emmanuel D. Armbruster, Maxwell B. Armbruster, and James E. Armbruster III.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene V. "Spec" McGraw in 1975, and her parents.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 2:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Reverend Wilford H. Lashbrook officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
