Mabel Riley-Gainey

Mabel Riley - Gainey, 84, died Monday, March 20, 2017, at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Ages, Kentucky on October 5, 1932 to parents John B. and Sally (Jones) Crider.

Mabel had been a founding member of the Route 4 Holiness Church and was a longtime member of the Roberts Road Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Mrs. Gainey is survived by her children, Doug (Nancy Booher) Riley, Ray (Connie) Riley, Sue (Dale) Gibson & Wanda (Terry Brown) Cates; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George Riley; second husband, Harold Gainey, son, John Riley; daughter, Cathy Riley; parents; brother, Odis Crider; & sister, Veda Lewis.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Dayton for their loving care and professionalism during Mabel's last days.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Roberts Road Pentecostal Holiness Church, 9569 Roberts Rd., Franklin with Pastor Jimmy Jewell officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
