Madeline M. DeVinney, 85, of Middletown, Ohio, died on September 11, 2003, at Kensington Place. She was born in Blue Knob, Pennsylvania on May 11, 1918 to parents George and Francina (Burkett) Ritchey.
Mrs. DeVinney was a loving homemaker and seamtress. She taught Sunday School for years and was active with mission programs at the Nazarene Church in Hubbard, Ohio. She currently was attending the Clear Creek Christian Assembly.
Madeline is survived by her husband, Raymond DeVinney of Middletown; four children, James DeVinney of Knoxville, TN, Audrey Wright of Middletown, OH, Timothy DeVinney of Hubbard, OH, and Linda Bilunka of Middletown, OH; one sister, Lorraine Black of Michigan; 22 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Ann DeVinney; two sons, Wayne and Phillip DeVinney; 6 brothers; and 7 sisters.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 14, 2003 at 3:30 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., with Pastor Dan Noel officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service Sunday from 1:30 - 3:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bedford County Memorial Park in Bedford, PA.
