Magdalene Jane 'Maggie' Wikoff, 102, of Middletown, died Monday, March 8, 2004, at Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Trenton, Ohio on November 24, 1901.
Mrs. Wikoff taught in elementary schools in the Middletown and Trenton areas. She operated a private kindergarten and first grade in Middletown. She and her husband, Howard, lived in many parts of the world when he worked as a consultant for Armco Steel, and took a world tour after his retirement. She was an avid bridge player and achieved the Life Master title. She was known as a gourmet cook and loved to entertain guests.
Maggie is survived by her niece, Dorothy Wiggins of Xenia, OH; a dear friend, Heather 'Petey' Valentine Mitten; godson, Ralph Kah; and goddaughters, Shari Kah Young and Zelma Kathryn Sandberg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard E. Wikoff; her parents; a sister, Mary Ann Thomson; and a brother, Harold Imhoff.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, March 11, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Church of the Ascension, 2709 McGee Ave., with Reverend Walter Mycoff officiating. There will be no visitation. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
