Margaret J. Stratemeyer

STRATEMEYER, (Lehr) Margaret J. age 88, of Middletown passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Mt. Pleasant in Monroe, Oh. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ. Margaret graduated from Withrow High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1940 she married the love of her life, Frank O Stratemeyer at St. Peters United Church of Christ in Pleasant Ridge, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. After her husband died in 1960 (manager of the John Ross Store), she became the manager of First National Bank Travel Dept. She traveled the world. She was also a member of the Middletown Christonians and Soroptimist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Marie (Becker) Lehr of Cincinnati; her sisters, Marie Lehr and Louise Rhein (Wm); and her brother Fred Lehr of Cincinnati; her husband of 20 years, Frank, and her son Frank O. Stratemeyer II, who died in 1986. She is survived by her loving daughter Marie (James) O’Donnell of Kettering, grandchildren, Chris, Nick and Betsy O’Donnell, Frank O. Stratemeyer III (Kim) of Maineville, Ohio and E. Grant Stratemeyer (Parul) of Arlington, Mass. and their son, her great grandchild, Evan Patel Stratemeyer. Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 23, 2007 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm- Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend Susan Jones Thompson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 – 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati.
