Marguerite E. Begley, 84, of Miamisburg, formerly of Middletown and Lakeland Fl, died Saturday May 30, 2009 at Sycamore Hospital. She was born in Middletown on October 31, 1924 to parents Arlie and Rebecca (Madden) Adkins.

She worked at WPAFB during WWII and later at McAlpins. Marguerite and Jack spent 20 years of retirement in Lakeland, Florida.

Mrs. Begley is survived by three children; Karen (Joe) Bruggeman, Gary (Nadine) Begley, and Nancy Lyons; seven grandchildren Mike, Joni, Jason, Kerri, Amy, Mandi and Betsy; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister Flo Randall, sister-in-laws Nelda, Audrey and Alice Adkins, special friend Hazel Blaine, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, sister Georgetta, and brothers Carl, Curt and Rod Adkins.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Sycamore Hospital, especially the nurses in Life Care Unit for their wonderful care, love and attention.

Funeral services will be Wednesday June 3, 2009 at 10:00AM at Wilson Schramm Spaulding Funeral Home 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.). Visitation will be Tuesday June 2, 2009 from 6-8PM at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
