Marie Cain

Marie Cain, 82, of Middletown, died Thursday, October 11, 2007, at Liberty of Middletown. She was born in Waynesville, on July 5, 1925 to parents Leonard and Hazel (Cartwright) Lawson.

Mrs. Cain worked for the Sorg Paper Company, retiring in 1987.

She is survived by one son, David A. Caldwell; step-son, Steven A. (Linda) Cain; five sisters, Rosemary Cornett, Betty (Robert) Graft, Helen (Jerry) Pate, Thelma Cuddy, and June (Oscar) Higgins; one brother, Leonard (Joyce) Lawson; 5 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Bill” Cain in 2000; and her parents.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 15, 2007 at 12:00 NOON at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Reverend James Anderson officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 12:00 NOON. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
