Marie M. Brehm

Marie M. Brehm, 101, of Middletown, died Monday, October 18, 2010, at Hawthorn Glen Senior Living Campus. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 7, 1909 to parents Henry J. and Marie Anna (Wilke) Wessels.

Marie worked as a telephone operator for Cincinnati Bell and a switchboard operator for Aeronca. She was a member of Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, the Altar Rosary Society, Middletown Area Senior Citizens and A.A.R.P.

Mrs. Brehm is survived by her sons, Thomas H. Brehm and Glenn R. (Sue) Brehm; grandsons, Chad T. (Elisha) Brehm, Clint M. Brehm and their sister, Heather Dell and granddaughter, Melissa A. (Jason) Hoogerhyde; and three great grandchildren, Hayden & Evan Hoogerhyde and Connor Brehm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Brehm in 2003; parents; brothers, Ralph, Harry, Fred "Bud", Johnny & Joseph Wessels; and sisters, Ann Thomas, Alma Wessels and Frances Wessels.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 22, 2010 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Butler County Memorial Park.
