Marie Morningstar Williams

Marie Morningstar Williams, 99, formerly of Middletown, died Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Heartland of Eaton. She was born in Jackson County, Kentucky on December 13, 1915 to parents Hiram and Louise (Lakes) Parrett.

Marie was a former member of First Baptist Church of Middletown.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her daughter, Linda (Terry) Padgett; grandson, Eugene (Jessica) Ice; great granddaughter, Elayna Ice; and brothers, Edward (Maxine) Parrett, Junior (Mary) Parrett & Gene (Carol) Parrett.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 46 years, Dick Morningstar in 1990; second husband, David Williams in 1999; son, James Messer; parents; brothers, Calvin P. Parrett & Luther Parrett; and sisters, Modena Baker & Hazel Holliday.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Kenneth Fey officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 - 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
