Marie Parrella

Marie Parrella, 87, of Middletown, died on Friday, December 21, 2007, at the Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown on November 6, 1920 to William and Ella (Lykins) Hollon.

Mrs. Parrella was a member of Holy Family Parish and was formerly of Franklin Street. Marie and her husband were the owners of Parrella's Spaghetti House.

Mrs. Parrella is survived by, two daughters: Teresa (Rocco) DiCristoforo and Blanche (Wilson) Bailey, both of Middletown; one son: Jack (Carolyn) Parrella of Middletown; two sisters: Dorothy Patton of Dayton and Hazel Brill of New Lebanon, OH; one brother: Bill Hollon of Middletown; 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Parrella, son, Theodore "Ted" Parrella and grandson, Jack Michael Bailey.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 26, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH at Bonita Dr. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
