Marilyn A. Bors

Marilyn Ann Sauter Bors, of Springboro, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2018. She was born September 22, 1926, in Carlisle, to Frank and Lillian (Duerr) Sauter.

Marilyn was a life-long member of St. Mary Church, Franklin and was actively involved with the Catholic Ladies of Columbia, the Ladies’ Society, typing the weekly parish bulletin for twenty years, and singing in the choir. She began St. Mary's bereavement committee which continues to provide luncheons to family and friends following funeral masses. At the age of seventy, her Macular Degeneration reached legal blindness and she was no longer able to do those things she enjoyed.

She joins in Heaven, her parents; four siblings; husband of 63 years, William; and son, Robert. She was a deeply devoted mother and grandmother to Ann (Jay) Weiskircher, Bill, Tony (Wyonna), Greg (Theresa) Bors; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Tom (Louise) Sauter; brother-in-law, Alex (Christine) Bors; sister-in-law, Dorothy Sauter; daughter-in-law, Kim Bors; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be at 9:30 am on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 9579 Yankee Rd., Springboro followed by 11:00 Mass with Father Jim Manning as celebrant. Burial will be in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Otterbein-Springboro for providing Marilyn loving care and a wonderful home environment during the past nineteen months.
