Marjorie C. Whitaker

Marjorie C. Whitaker, 82, of Franklin, died Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at Bethany Lutheran Village. She was born in Stanton, Kentucky on October 1, 1935.

Mrs. Whitaker is survived by her sons, Doug (Dee) Whitaker, Dean (Svetlana) Whitaker & James Whitaker; daughter, Melanie (Ernie) Morgan; brothers, Rodney (Marilyn) Campbell & Dennis (Susan) Campbell; sisters, Dorothy Hurt, Evelyn (Oscar) Clark & Beatrice (Jim) Riffe; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many other loving family & friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas “Bucky” Whitaker; mother, Ethel; brothers, Buford Campbell, Paul Campbell & Brad Campbell; and sisters, Jan Wentzel & Patty Meredith.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, October 27, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Luke United Presbyterian Church, 280 N. Breiel Blvd., Middletown with Reverend Jerry Pittman officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be at North Monroe Cemetery.
