Marjorie L. Lewis, 85, of Madison Township, died Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on May 5, 1926 to parents Harvey and Deliah Hightower.
Marjorie had worked for Elder-Beerman in the jewelry department and for JC Penny. She loved to garden and sit on her back porch
Mrs. Lewis is survived by her husband, Lonny Lewis; daughters, Letetia (Paul) Kline & Mary Ann (Mark) Johnson; sons, Pat (Pam) Rossi & Mike (Dianna) Rossi; step-son, Tom (Tana) Lewis; grandchildren, Nikki (Stephan) Sevard, Heather (Scott) Kennedy, Tony Rossi, Jennifer (Cliff) Wood, Audrey (William) Palmer, Bryan Kline, Mike Rossi & Joe Rossi; step-grandchildren, Kylie & Ethan Lewis; great grandchildren, Nick Forthofer, Alyssa Palmer, Connor Kennedy & Bryan Palmer; and step-great grandchildren, Landon, Malachi, Aiden, Jayden & Akosha Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Patrick H. Rossi in 1980 & Floyd Turner in 1987 and her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9:00 - 10:00 AM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Entombment will be at Woodside Mausoleum.
Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Parish, 201 Clark Street, Middletown, OH 45042.
