It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marsha June (Williams) Hamilton on December 1, 2024, in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Marsha June (Williams) Hamilton was born to Inza Inez (Sexton) Williams and Drexel Eddie Williams in Middletown, Ohio on May 22, 1945. Marsha was the oldest of three children. She attended elementary school through 18 months of Business College all in the Middletown, Ohio area. She maintained her passion for reading throughout her life.
Marsha met the love of her life, Lonnie Hamilton, and was married at the Amanda Methodist Church on May 6, 1967. Marsha was well known for her love and support of her family and her church as she spent years working as a child caregiver through the Hunter Safe Care Program at the Hunter Community United Methodist Church. Marsha’s most prized job was that of a homemaker. However, in addition to employment at Hunter Community United Methodist Church she also worked at Otterbein Retirement Community, and Sears Department Stores.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Inza and Drexel Williams and her brother, Michael Eddie Williams.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Hamilton; brother, Thomas Dean Williams (Terri); three sons, Todd Matthew Hamilton (Lisa) of Georgetown, Kentucky, Tracey Martin Hamilton (Amy) of Middletown, Ohio, and Travis Michael Hamilton of Hamilton, Ohio; and grandchildren, Luke Martin Hamilton (Briana), Ian Matthew Hamilton (Laura Catalina), Elizabeth "Ellie" Grace Sams (Trace), and Olivia Gail Hamilton. She has been blessed with great grandchildren, Walker David Hamilton, Henry Luke Hamilton, Sally Joy Sams, and a new great grandson to be born in 2025. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 15, 2024 at 5:00 pm at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown with Reverend Mick Salyer officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
