Martha C. Barnes

Martha C. Barnes, 93, of Monroe, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at West Chester Hospital. She was born in Middletown on May 4, 1921 to parents Wallace I. and Ada (Weiser) Chamberlain.

Mrs. Barnes is survived by her daughter, Betsy (Lee) South; grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Conley, Samantha Floyd & Adam (Kassie) South; great grandchildren, Keagan Floyd, Grace Ellen Conley, Jack Conley & Porter South; son-in-law, Jack McGuire; and lifelong friend, Mary Maurer.

She was preceded in death by her husband, F. William 'Bill' Barnes in 2005; daughter, Barbara E. McGuire; parents; and brother, Jack Chamberlain.

Memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Mary H. Kittredge Chapel at Mt. Pleasant Retirement Village, 225 Britton Lane, Monroe with Chaplain Karen Fleming officiating.
